Main area of work concerning early childhood intervention (ECI) The Medical School Hamburg is a private institution within the field of tertiary education offering full time Bachelor/Master and part time Bachelor/Master and research mainly in the bio-psycho-social field. This recently founded University of Applied Sciences e.g. offers Bachelors in - Advanced Nursing - Applied Psychology - Medical Pedagogics - Early Childhood Intervention and furthermore - Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Therefore the MSH with its concept of learning outcomes and its focus on intervention and prevention covers the field of basic and continuous training within the field. Around 150 students study at MSH. The transdisciplinary aspect within MSH fosters the idea of a “team around the child” approach, including work with parents in preventive and rehabilitative fields.
